AI D&D & RPG session summaries
Three hours of voices, side-quests and one very memorable bar fight. Kompanion's AI reads it all back and hands you a recap you'll actually want to re-read, without anyone sitting out the game to write it.
What the summary captures
- Key events: the big beats, the turns, the decisions your table will be living with next session.
- NPCs and places: who you met, where you went, and the names you'll wish you'd written down.
- Quests and threads: what you took on, what's still open, what someone swore they'd remember (they won't).
- In your campaign's voice: it reads like your story, not a meeting transcript.
How it works
- Bring in the session. Kompanion already has the transcript, whether it came from a Discord recording, an uploaded audio file, or a YouTube link.
- The Wizard reads it back. The AI writes a readable summary of what actually happened and conjures editable cards for the NPCs, places, items and quests that came up.
- You take the red pen. Trim it, rewrite it, fix that one name the AI heard wrong, then share it with the table.
A summary, not a wall of text
A raw transcript is honest and completely unreadable. This page is about the other half: the written recap that comes out the far end. Kompanion turns the talking into a story you can skim in two minutes before your next game, keeping the events that mattered and dropping every "wait, whose turn is it?". It's a summary your players will actually open.
AI takes the notes. You run the game.
Everything Kompanion writes is yours to edit: the recap, the cards, the names. The Wizard does the typing; you keep the final word. That's the whole deal. It does the boring part, you stay the one telling the story.

FAQ
How does the AI summarize my D&D session?
Kompanion takes the transcript of your recorded session and writes a readable recap: the key events, the NPCs, the places, the quests and the decisions your table made. It reads in your campaign's voice, and you can edit every word before anyone else sees it.
Can I edit the summary the AI writes?
Yes. The recap, the cards and the names are all yours to rewrite, trim or correct. The AI takes the notes; you run the game and keep the final word.
What does the session summary include?
A written recap of the session plus editable cards for the characters, places, items and quests that came up, so you can skim what mattered before your next game.
